Carol “King” Chouest, Sr., 89, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA. Burial will be a Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Carroll “Beau” Chouest, Jr. (Celeste), Wilson Chouest and David Chouest; daughter, Angelina Lee (Richard); stepsons, Carl Kiger (Linda), Dwayne Kiger and Charles Kiger (Peggy); stepdaughters, Dale Plaisance, Verlay Brock, Lisa Geromini (Tim) and Allison Sevin; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 27 step grandchildren; 45 step great grandchildren and 3 step great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Janet Autin and Nazia Chouest; daughters-in-law, Lisa Chouest and Vilma Chouest; stepson, Curtis Kiger; stepdaughters, Audrey Duet and Gail Kiger; stepsons-in-law, James Brock and Perry Plaisance and parents, Benton and Florida Chouest.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
