Calvin Phillip "T-Breaux" Breaux, 84, a native of St. Charles Community and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris Babin Breaux; sons, Randy Breaux (Nancy), Keith Breaux, (Mona), Darrell Breaux; daughters, Karen Clarke (Brian), Jenifer Orgeron (Chris), Amy Dufrene (Ryan); grandchildren, Aaron, Bradley, Matthew, Damian, Neili, Logan, Zachary Breaux, Michelle and Lance McNair, Rebecca and Hannah Clarke, Jeff, Holly and Andy Orgeron and Seth Dufrene; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and sisters, Rose Mary LeBlanc and Joan Brassette (David).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Bridget Breaux; brothers, Leroy and Lionel Breaux, brother-in-law, Warren LeBlanc and great grandson, Nicholas Griffin.
Calvin retired from Avondale Shipyards with 38 years of service. He served as a member of the National Guard. He was the first Boy Scout Master in Raceland, a master gardener, fan of all sports, especially high school and LSU. He truly loved supporting all of his family in their many endeavors. He will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
