Byron Charles Gautreaux, 57, a native of Galliano and resident of Raceland, died at 11:20 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be held at noon Wednesday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano.
He is survived by his wife, Jodie Gautreaux; his mother, Doris Gautreaux; son, Chance Gautreaux; two brothers, Dwight Gautreaux Sr. and Brendon Gautreaux; and four sisters, Desma Gisclair, Gwen Charpentier, Veronica Theriot and Bonnie Toepfer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Medric Gautreaux; son, Hilary James Gautreaux; and two brothers, Medric "Jim" Gautreaux and Maurice Gautreaux.
He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
