Brandon Anthony Portier

Brandon Anthony Portier, age 24, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg on Monday, July 8, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin.

Brandon is survived by his wife of 1 year and 3 months, Aurora Redman Portier; parents, Kent A. Portier and Katy Babin Portier; mother-in-law, Monica D. Redman; brother and sister-in-law, Derrick and Chelsea Roy; sister, Lindsey Roy; nieces, Rylan, Brynlee, and Godchild, Caroline Roy; grandparents, Bobby and Penelope “Penny” Jones Portier, and Ronald and Hilda Molaison Babin; Godmother, Dorothy Meyer; Godfather, Kevin Portier; brother-in-law, David Redman and fiancé, Lauren; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brandon was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Mark Redman; grandmother, Gladys Stelly Babin; Grandparent in-law, Aswell Domangue Sr. and Marie Courteaux Domangue; Great-grandparents, Floyd and Lucy Stelly, Arthur and Alice Babin, John and Eunice Jones, Maurice and Emelda Portier; uncle, Benjamin Carpenter Sr.

Brandon was a member of the CGS Car Club. He loved his Jeep Track Hawk. Brandon was a 3rd degree black belt with Chauvin TKD. He was an LSU and Saints fan. He enjoyed collecting Tequila, whiskey, and beer, listening to music, and playing video and card games. He rejoiced in spending time with the love of his life, Aurora, and his fur baby, Millie. If anyone could bring friends together, it was Brandon. He would have given the shirt off his back to anyone. Brandon lived his life in the present and to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
