Bradley J. “Brad” Guidry, 66, a native of Galliano and resident of Larose passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Wednesday, March 3rd from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Brad is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patty D. Guidry; father, Norman J. Guidry; daughters, Daphne Cheramie (Rowdy) and Brooke LeBlanc (Davy); grandchildren, Jaci Cheramie, Brody Cheramie and Hayden LeBlanc; brothers, Artie Guidry (Brenda), Wade Guidry (Anita) and Leonard Guidry; sister, Brenda Baudoin (Johnny); brother-in-law, Dan Danos (Debbie); sister-in-law, Belinda Guidry (Clyde); family friend, Penny Callahan (James); numerous nieces and nephews.
Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Betty C. Guidry; father and mother-in-law, Philip and Thelma Danos.
Brad was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Anyone who knew him, loved him. He worked in the oilfield nearly all his life and retired at the age of 62. In his free time, he enjoyed building things, crabbing and spending time with his grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Hospice of South Louisiana, Clayton Bossier, and the staff at Mary Bird Perkin’s Cancer Center.
