Billie Jo "Sun Dancer" Aucoin, 48, a native of Raceland and a resident of Bayou Blue, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 and from 8:00 am until 11:00 am Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, LA. Religious Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, LA.
She is survived by her children, Amanda Stewart (Chris Sr.); Brandon Aucoin, (Demi), Brandy Aucoin (companion, Jacob Gros); mother, MorningDove Verret Hopkins; brother, Frankie Verret; sister, Rachel Verret; grandchildren, Kalani, Amori, Christopher Stewart, Jr., Melvin Matthews, Tyler Harris, Amberleigh and Vanessa Trahan; godchildren, Jasmine and Jacob Verret; Nephew, Austin Verret; daughters-in-love, Lauren Lane, Lindsay Trahan and her dog Tessie.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Ken Hopkins and Barry Maynard.
