Beverly Orgeron

Beverly Dupre Orgeron, 80, a native of Larose and a resident of Gheens, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 12:13 pm.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jerry Orgeron; daughter, Susan Sevranek (Leos); son, Ted Orgeron; sister-in-law raised by Beverly and Jerry, Linda Orgeron Dempster (Darryl) and Lori Strevig (Rod), whom was always treated as an adopted member of the family; grandchildren, Josh Louviere (Shantal), Jade Dempster Eschette (Shane), Cheryl Orgeron Hosea (Phillip) and Lanie Orgeron; great grandchildren, Kaleb and Kage Louviere, Noah and Tate Eschette and sisters, Anna Lee Adams (Herbert) and Lois Tregre (Alcide Jr.).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis P. Dupre and Lena D. Dupre; in laws, Harris and Nazy Orgeron; son, Tom Orgeron; great grandsons, Carter, Jackson, Colin Hosea and brothers, Edward and Norman "Tim" Dupre.

Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, nanny, sister and friend. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, sewing and spending time at the hunting lease. The best times for her were spending time with family and friends.
