Beuvans A. Savoie, 82, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Paradis, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, Dec. 29, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.He is survived by his wife, Brenda Schmill Savoie; son, Michael Savoie Sr.; daughter, Daina Bond; stepson, Ricky LeBlanc; stepdaughters, Belinda Olivier and Jennifer Truxillo; sister, Edwina Lagattuda; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Duncan and Elizabeth L. Savoie; brother, Lucien "L.D."
