Betty Terrebonne Plaisance

Betty “Boo” Terrebonne Plaisance, 89, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025.

 Mrs. Betty is survived by her daughters: Kathy Plaisance Bernal, Donna Plaisance Eymard; grandchildren: Ross Bernal (Stephanie), Reneé Bernal; great grandchildren: Blake, Jax, Claire, and Olivia; son in law: Gary Brown; and sister in law: Elsie Plaisance.

 Mrs. Plaisance was preceded in death by her husband: Euris “Nonk” Plaisance; daughter: Robin Brown; parents: Alcide and Violet C. Terrebonne; brother: Larry Terrebonne (Mamie); and son in law: Jason Eymard.

 She loved to babysit the Pitre kids, playing poker keno and bingo, going on casino trips, and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 Mrs. Betty’s family would like to thank the staff of The Broadway and St. Joseph Hospice for the care and compassion provided.

 Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 from 9:00 am until service time. A Celebration of Her Life will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
