Betty Ann Pierce, 82, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 3:09 p.m. Saturday, June 22,2013.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick Joseph Pierce Sr.; daughters, Paulette Pertuit and companion, R.J. "BUCK" Hebert, Mary Gaudet, Linda Eschette, Janine and husband, Melvin Melancon, Mitzi and husband, Charles Cranshaw, and Michelle Folse and companion, Charlee Craig; sister, Geraldine Adams; son-in-law, Daniel L. Robichaux; daughter-in-law, Janelle T. Pierce; former daughter-in-law, Elizabeth F. Pierce Plaisance: 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean Paul and Anna Loupe Punch; sons, Frederick Jr. and Michael Anthony Pierce; daughter, Susan Robichaux; son-in-law, Ernest J. "Poncho" Eschette; former daughter-in-law, Barbara K. Pierce; sisters, Odette Guidry, Irene Orgeron, Annie LeBlanc and Eula Bye; brothers, Johnny, J.P. and Gerard Punch; and grandson, Michael Pierce.
