Betty Lou Bergeron Ledet, 68, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James J. Ledet; son, Tony Ledet; daughters, Sheila Benoit and companion, Sammy Naquin and Lisa Ledet and companion, Bubba Gill; sisters, Joyce Boquet and husband, Norris, and Victoria Ledet and husband, Charles; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Sr. and Dorita Babin Bergeron; son, Troy Ledet; brothers, Clarence Bergeron Sr. and Henry Bergeron Sr.; and sister, Lois Lirette.
She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
