Betty Buquet Baye, R.N., a believer in Jesus Christ, native of Houma and lifelong resident of Nine Mile Point, La passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at the Luling Living Center, Luling.

A visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Homes, L.L.C on Friday evening, Nov. 9, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will commence at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 409 Funderburk Ave., Houma on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the church with interment to follow in the St. Francis DeSales Mausoleum #2.

Beloved wife of the late Leon C. Baye "Boulon".

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Baye Lambertand husband Ronald and Stephanie Baye Ballein and husband Tim; four grandsons, Seth, Corey, Levi, and Joshua Lambert; and five great0grandchildren, Conner, Kendal, Micah, Payton, and Lily Lambert, her Godson Glenn Knoblock and many other nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Cecile Hebert Buquet, her sisters, Peral Buquet Knoblock and Janet Buquet Kreamer and Gret-grandson Landon Isaiah Lambert.

Betty was a 1950 graduate of Charity Hospital School of Nursing and is a memberof the White sector for Orleans and Jefferson Parish and the Stae of Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to any of the many who spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Luling Living residents, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, Calvary Baptist Church in lulling, the First Baptist Church in Paradis, the New Wine Christian Fellowship in LaPlace and the Redeeming life Christian Church in Walker, La.
