Bessie Adams Callais, 85, a native of Cut Off and a resident of Galliano, died at 9:54 Friday, Oct. 19, 2012.
A visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Golden Meadow. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Onezime "Joe" Callais; son, Wade A. Callais; daughter, Lela C. Langston; sister, Essie A. Hatcher,
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignace and Emma Bruce Adams; son-in-law, Aron Langston; brother, Woodrow Adams; sisters, Zoella Adams, and Ouida A. Autin.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
