Bertha Roussel Vedros

Bertha Roussel Vedros, 79, a native and resident of Lockport, La. passed away with her loving family near her side on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La. from 6:00pn until 9:00pm. On Thurdsay, May 23, 2024 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.
Bertha is survived by her children; James “Jimmy” Vedros, Jr. (Lisa), Kimberly “Kim” Landry (Scott), Mary Dufren (Randy), Cindy Leonard (Bennie), grandchildren; Tissylyn, Hannah, Ryan, Jace, and Cole, great-grandchildren; Jalen, Kamren, Nickoli, Jimmie, Karsen and Rylen, sisters; Thelma Chiasson and Bernice Bourgeois, sister-in-law; Vivian Roussel.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years; James Joseph Vedros, Sr., parents; Arthur, Sr. and Clemillia Griffin Roussel, brother; Arthur Roussel, Jr. sisters; Maude Crochet, and Velma Dufrene.
Bertha loved fishing, camping, Pokeno, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Bertha was a Parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
