Bertha Champagne Guidroz, 91, a native of Chauvin and resident of Lockport, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport and from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Anthony P. Guidroz; one brother, Percy Champagne; one sister, Thelma "Aunt Foun" Arcement; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris L. Guidroz; her parents, Louis and Carrie Champagne; one daughter, Theresa Curole; one brother, Ray Champagne; and one sister, Bernice "Aunt J" Theriot.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
