Bernice Walker Blanchard, age 88, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Holy Savior Catholic Church from 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am at the church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Peggy B. Ayala and husband Sidney Ayala; brothers, George Walker and Russell Walker; caregiver, Sylvia Knight and husband Richard Knight; 3 grandchildren, Marlin, Ross and Branden Blanchard; 2 great grandchildren, Lillian and Bentley Blanchard and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Blanchard Jr.; parents, Alcee and Lydia Walker; brothers, Clifton, Wilton and Roy Walker; sisters, Doris Blanchard, Tessie Chauvin and Lucille Sevin.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
