Bernard Ronald Mire, 82, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Marrero, died on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment in the St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time on Friday at the church.
He is survived by his wife; Louella Picciola Mire, children; Peggy Mire, Karen Mire Callegan and husband Brian, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas J. Mire, Sr. and Annette Bernard Mire, brothers; Allen Rodney, Thomas Mire, sisters; Mildred Mire.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
