Bedner Joseph Blanchard

Bedner Joseph Blanchard, 88, a native of Schriever and a resident of Houma, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma with burial to follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Babin Blanchard; daughter, Judy Blanchard Trahan and husband, Roy; granddaughter, Stacy Lynn Trahan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Justilen Blanchard Sr. and Emma Blanchard; siblings, Justilen Blanchard Jr. and Lhury Blanchard.
He was a U.S. Army Corporal and served in the Korean Conflict. He was part owner of Terrebonne Hardware.
