Beatrice "Bea" Trosclair

Beatrice “Bea” Plaisance Trosclair, 88, a native and resident of Larose passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose from 9.:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Beatrice is survived by her son: Sterling Trosclair; grandchildren: Scotty Trosclair (Maggie), Kayra Trosclair, Adam Trosclair; six great grandchildren; and sisters: Catherine Leblanc (Joe), and Aline Dufrene (Jackie).

Mrs. Trosclair was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years: Irvin “Crip” Trosclair; parents: Herbert and Flossie Plaisance; and brothers: Camille Plaisance, Herbert “Plut” Plaisance, Lester “Parrin” Plaisance, and Ivy “Boogalee” Plaisance.

Mrs. Bea was an incredibly happy, fun-loving person that would light up a room when she walked in. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, cook, and travel. She was a resolute parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary in Larose and retried after a 36-year career with Lafourche Telephone Company.
