Beatrice "Bea" Rogers

Beatrice “Bea” Rogers, 93, a resident of Golden Meadow, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 12th, 2024.

She is survived by, her children, Johnny Rogers, Sr. (Karen), and Tammy Rogers; Daughter in-laws, Gail, and Shelia; Grandchildren; Jerry Rogers, Jr., Stacey Rogers Lathrop, Tangy Rogers, Kristie Rogers Fontenot, Jessie Rogers, Larry Rogers, Jr., Scarlet Lafont, Shane Rogers, Rayshelle Rogers, Johnny Rogers, Jr., Drake Rogers, Brian Rogers, Tonia Rogers Case, Roxie Plaisance, Chad Melancon, and Angel Melancon; and many Great and Great-Great Grandchildren.

She proceeded in death by her husband of 53 years, Cleveland Rogers; her Parents, Charles and Irene Guidry; Children, Jerry Rogers, Sr. (Sheila), Larry Rogers, Sr. (Gail), and Joyce Rogers Charpentier (C.J.); great-grand Daughter, Ashley Rogers Lafont; Daughter in-laws, Karen Rogers, and Charlene Rogers; her Brothers, Cyric, Victor, and Paris Guidry; and her Sister, Elizabeth Guidry Gisclair.

Beatrice loved fishing and visiting with her grand-kids and cooking for family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her. 

A visitation will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 from 9:00am-11:00am. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place following mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Golden Meadow.
