Bartha Hall Jr.

Bartha “Bart” Taft Hall. Jr., 54, a native of Greenwood, MS and a resident of Bourg passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. He was a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and the St. Gregory Knights of Columbus Council # 6170. He was a veteran and was employed with Halliburton for 35 years as a wireline specialist. Bart enjoyed woodworking and was an avid hunter. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julie Dupre Hall, son, Jared Hall, mother, Lynne Hall, brothers, Steven Hall “Gail”, Travis Hall, Shane Hall “Nicole”, Joshua Hall “Kate”, sister, Shelby Hall, niece, Debb Dupre Pierce “James”, other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
Bart was preceded in death by his father, Bartha “Bill” Taft Hall, Sr. and son, Derek Anthony Hall.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home of Houma and again on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery II.
