Barbara Plaisance Zeringue, 82, a native and resident of Raceland, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, December 4th at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland, Louisiana from 9:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. The burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Mark (Myra) Zeringue and Kevin (Judy) Zeringue; daughters, Denise (Dean) Fournier, Laurie Z. Nichols, Kathy Z. Boudreaux, and Lisa (Ken) Gervais; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren with 2 expected in 2024 and her sister, Linda Plaisance Breaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll J. Zeringue of 62 years; her parents, Charlie and Yvonne Beniot Plaisance; her sisters, Dolores Plaisance Babin and Brenda Plaisance; sons-in-law, Monty Boudreaux and Gene Nichols.
The family would like to thank Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, The Broadway, Dr. Scott Hebert, Dr. Allen B. Fortier and Dr. Nathan Bolton.
