Barbara Welch Mabry

Barbara Grace Welch Mabry, age 77, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 4:31 p.m. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Maria Immaculata Gathering Center in Houma on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.

Barbara is survived by her son Devin J. Malbrough; daughter, Alissia Verdin; brothers, Roy, Joseph “Larry”, Alvin “Terry”, and Lynn Welch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Byron James Mabry; parents, Albert Joseph Welch and Lillian Fitch Dorsey; brothers, Ernest “Basco” and Albert “Pumpkin” Sr. Verret; sister, Mary Alice Swanson and Judy Parfait.
