Barbara S. Guidry, 65, a native of Texas and resident of Houma, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Religious services will be held at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Earl J. "Tee-Tee" Guidry Sr.; four sons, Kerry, Steven, and Alfred Guidry and Richard Rossi; three daughters, Angela Roth, Belva DeShazo and Richelle Arnold; eight stepchildren, Audrey Pellegrin, Flossie Aucoin, Emily Ledet, Marissa Usie, Debra Guidry, Earl J. Guidry Jr., Nathan and Charles Guidry; and 37 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Belva Spongia; two brothers, Frank Spongia Jr. and Gene Haul; and three sisters, Carolyn French, Joyce Lendhart and Belva Piptin.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help cover funeral expenses would be appreciated.
