Barbara Barre Broussard Duvernay, 80, a native of New Orleans and resident of Des Allemands, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, in Kenner.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Broussard and wife, Shiela, André Broussard and wife, Linda, and Emile "Joey" Broussard Jr. and wife, Sandra; daughters, Donna and Monique Broussard; grandchildren, Emile III and wife, Erica, Jennifer, Julious, Kalee, Brandi, Michael Jr., Holly, Hannah, and Erica; and sisters, Betty Barre Petraska and Joan Barre Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emile J. Broussard; second husband, Guy French; third husband, Hilton Duvernay; parents, Atal and Josephine Gaudet Barre; and brother, John Warren Barre.
She was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
