Barbara "Bobbie" Elaine Prejean Boudreaux, 94, a native of Bell Rose, Ascension Parish, and a resident of Raceland died on Sun. June 10, 2012 in Thibodaux.
Visitation will commence at St. Hillary of Poitier Catholic Church in Matthews from 9 am. until mass at 11 am. on Thurs. June 14, 2012. Burial will follow at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland.
She is survived by her daughters, Claire and husband Phillip Ragozzino, Trudy and husband Bill Wells, and Ann and husband Kevin Allemand, brother Robert "Bob" Prejean, sisters-in-law, Mildred Falcon Prejean and Isabelle LeBlanc Prejean, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Antoine Boudreaux, parents, Robert Lawrence Prejean and Irene Olivia Thibodaux Prejean, and one brother, Fred Prejean.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of St. Hilary, a former employee of the Archdiocese of New Orleans and the Archives and Historical Research Center, Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux for a combined total of 44 years. She was also an administrative secretary to Judge Sam A. Leblanc, district Attorney Aubert L. Talbot, and Attorney Adoph Menuet.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Archives and Historical Research Center, Diocese of Houma-Thiboaux, 205 Audubon Ave. Thibodaux, LA 70301
