Aswell Paul Domangue Jr., age 63, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 12:06 p.m. He was a native of Chauvin and resident of Montegut (Point-Aux-Chenes), LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Saturday, December 31, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in Dugas Cemetery in Montegut.
Aswell is survived by his wife of 20 years, June Waguespack Domangue; his fur baby, Milo; parents, Aswell P. Sr. and Elsie “Marie” Courteaux Domangue; mother-in-law, Sherry Usey Waguespack; brothers, Marty J. Domangue and wife, Donna, and Audie M. Domangue and fiancé, Sheila LeCompte; sisters, Monica D. Redman, and Elsie D. LeBlanc and husband, Micheal “Mike”; brother-in-law, Faron Waguespack and wife, Angie; sisters-in-law, Bonita Chilton, Starr Ordoyne and husband, Todd, and Pam Waguespack; nieces and nephews, Laurel E. Domangue and companion, Jared Collins, Bobby Adams (Godchild) and husband, Dustin, Whitney D. Aswell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shaffer and Wilma Domangue, Alice Lapeyrouse Domangue, Eva and Louis Sr. Gregoire, and Eulice Courteaux; aunt, Genevieve Gregoire; father-in-law, Curtis J. Waguespack; brothers-in-law, Randy P. Waguespack and Richard Chilton; and his fur babies, Danielle, Jenny, Katt, Mitts, Copper, Minnie, Ozzy, Lily, Jasmin, and Buckey.
Aswell was a member of United Houma Nation. He was employed with Enterprise Products for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with family, friends, and his fur babies. He was fun, loving and always had a smile on his face.
