Ashton is survived by his parents, James Michael and Haley Angel Guidry Scott; brothers, Abel Dwight and Anthony Roy Scott; sister, Aria Taylor Gaspard; grandparents, Alexis Paul and Angel Marie Bouffanie Guidry; great-grandparents, Nolan Joseph and Lorraine Cheramie Guidry, and Audrey Paulk Bouffanie.

Ashton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dwight D. Paul Scott, and Christina Michelle Foley; great-grandfather, Calvin Joseph Bouffanie.
