Arthur Schaubhut, Jr., 84, a native and resident of Des Allemands died at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 1, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time, 11 a.m. Monday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Earline Naquin Schaubhut for 62 years; sons, Curry Schaubhut, Sr. and wife Pamela, Todd Schaubhut and wife Roxanne; brothers, John Schaubhut; sister, Lillian Dufrene; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Schaubhut, Sr. and Rose Christen Schaubhut; daughter, Marylane Bevill; brothers, Elwyn Schaubhut, Merlin Schaubhut; sisters, Rita Matherne; sisters, Rita Matherne, and Vivian Schaubhut.
Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
