Arthur Etienne Breaux, Jr., 92, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport, entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Savoie Breaux; sons, Gary (Margaret) Breaux and Larry (Mary) Breaux; daughters, Linda (Les) Brassette, Mary (Dean) LeBouef, Donna (Ken) Wiggins, Darnell (Doug) Foreman and Susan (Corey) Hogan; sixteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur E. Breaux, Sr. and Elvire Bourgeois Breaux; brothers, Emile, Gracien and Clay Breaux; sisters, Enola Grabert, Josephine Breaux, Odette Folse, Hilda Tardo and Lucille Foret.
He was a World War II Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 83, VFW 3665 and the 40&8. He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
