Artelise R. Lafont, 92, a native of Galliano, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis J. Lafont and wife Lori, Jody J. Lafont and wife Robin "Buffy"; grandchildren, Andrew, Madeline, Alyse, Ross Lafont and brothers, Paul and Don LeBoeuf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert J. Lafont, Jr.; son, Russell J. Lafont; mother and step father; Artemise E. LeBoeuf and Caliste LeBoeuf; father, Leneas Rousse; brother, Jack LeBoeuf and sister Janavee Pitre.
