Archie C. Flowers, Jr., a native of Bay Minette and a resident of Golden Meadow, was born on March 8, 1959 and died on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Golden Meadow. Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Golden Meadow. A burial will follow in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years; Stephen Autin Flowers, God-daughter; Jerricka Lee, God-son; Richard Matt and companion Larica Rogers, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Blain and Patricia Bourg, brother-in-law; Steven Autin and wife Tina Autin, nephew; Joshua Autin and companion Adrianna Billiot, sister-in-law; Katricia Autin and companion Earl James, Jr., God-children; Chelsey Autin and Coda Barbour, and his favorite two little dogs; Suzie and Sophie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Archie Flowers Sr. and Bernice Tayler Flowers.
He will be sadly missed by family and friends. His wife was his eyes that he sees and the air that he breathes. Mr. Archie was a member of the 10 point Buck Hunting Club for 13 years.
He was employed by GIS for 17 years.
