Antoine Joseph Naquin Jr.

Antoine Joseph “AJ” Naquin, Jr., age 85, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:15 p.m. He was a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Thursday, June 8, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.

AJ is survived by his wife of 64 years, Irene Billiot Naquin; sons, Joseph A. Naquin, and John N. Naquin, Sr. and wife, Shonalee; brothers, Gilbert Naquin, Julius Naquin, and Roy Naquin and wife, Diane; grandchildren, Chelsea Louviere, Anthony Toups, Hope Verdin, and John Naquin, Jr.; and 4 great-grandchildren.

AJ was preceded in death by his parents, Antoine, Sr. and Corinne Theriot Naquin; grandchild, Blake Ashley Naquin; sister, Laura N. Bourg; sisters-in-law, Mary and Rozela Naquin.

AJ worked at Monsanto in Luling for 31 years as a supervisor. He has been retired for 26 years. AJ enjoyed joking and gambling with his friends, and spending time with his family.
