Annie Lee Hadley Scott

May 27, 1940 — January 2, 2023

Annie Lee Hadley Scott was born on May 27, 1940 , LA to (late) Leonard and Fannie Hadley. She went to sleep in death on January 02, 2023.
Our mother was such a loving, caring, kind person. She truly took care of her home, her husband and 8 children. She was not just a wife and mother, but also was a faithful
witness of Jehovah, since 10/14/1974 when she got baptized. She loved talking to others about her God Jehovah.
Annie Lee Scott was survived by 4 sons: Barry B, Clifton B III (Carla), Marcus P (Cynthia), David L Scott. 3 daughters: Janet L Scott, Sandy M Ferrell (Xelonious), Connie Strickland (David). 2 grandchildren: Victoria & Kayla Scott and 2 brothers: Lee Royal Hadley (Rene) and Clearance Hadley. As well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifton Benjamin Scott Jr., oldest son Percy J Scott, 4 brothers: Ulysses Hadley, Kent Hadley, Will Hadley, Elmer Hadley. 5 sisters: Delores Jones, Enester Shelby, Agnes Marts, Susie Mae Robinson, Evola Pinkney.
We will miss our dear loving mother, but we know she is only sleeping for now, because of this promise at Acts 24:15…
‘And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection…’
This is our hope, that comforts and strengthens us during such a difficult time.

Also our local congregation and also visiting congregations for their support through phone calls, text messages, food but above all the PRAYERS.
