Anna Hymel Dufrene

Anna Hymel Dufrene, 89, a native of Taft and a resident of Paradis, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Friday, October 8, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
She is survived by her sons, Derril Dufrene (Wendy) and Leonard Dufrene; daughters, Denise Dufrene (Joseph) and Valerie Englade (Mark); sister, Dolores Bernard; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Dufrene; son, Edward Dufrene; daughters-in-law, Sherry Dufrene, Betty Dufrene and Shelia Dufrene; brothers, Clifford, Percy and Elmo Hymel and 2 great grandchildren.
She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
