Angel Hope LeBlanc Matherne

Angel Hope LeBlanc Matherne, 45, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 6:26 p.m. She was a native Thibodaux and a resident of Des Allemands, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Thursday, July 11, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Church in Thibodaux on Friday, July 12, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. 

Angel is survived by her husband of 13 years, Nakia Paul Matherne; parents, David Mark LeBlanc and Susan Ann Oncale; daughters, Lexie Gauthreaux and husband, Devon, and Madison Gauthreaux; grandchildren, Brantley Cotton, Jaxon, Malachi, and Weston Gauthreaux; and mother-in-law, Sharon Silvas and husband, Art.

 Angel was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Quinsen Matherne; and grandparents, Jessie and Helen LeBlanc, and Claiborne and Blanche Oncale.
