Alza A. Doucet

Alza Anselmi Doucet, 100, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La. passed away on December 11, 2024.

 Visitation will be on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 10:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.

 Alza is survived by her daughter; Florence “Flo” Ledet (Britt), grandchildren; Jennifer “Jenny” Ledet (Chase Bouzigard), Elizabeth “Beth” Thibodaux Williams (Chris), Kathleen “Katie” Ledet (Allen Myers), and Sara Thibodaux Aucoin (Troy), great-grandchildren; Hugh Williams, Zakk Williams and Keri Aucoin, son-in-law; Allen Thibodaux.

 Alza was preceded in death by her husband; Ulysse P. Doucet, parents; Juan A. and Ada Crosby Anselmi, daughter; Mitzi D. Thibodaux, brothers; Walter, Warmosh “Wamah”, Irvin “Uncle Joe” Anselmi, sisters; Lillian “Nanny” Callais, and Mim “Honey” Dantin.

 Alza was a parishioner and a eucharistic minister of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
