Alvin John Vedros, 78, native of Lockport, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 9:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Alvin is the beloved husband of Connie Adams Vedros; father of Rod Vedros (Mary) and devoted grandfather of Caleb Vedros, Adam Vedros and Hannah Vedros. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvest L. Vedros and Evelina Pierce Vedros and siblings, Ranson Vedros, Louise Vedros Foret, Doris Vedros, Nelma Vedros Naquin and Alice Vedros Carlos.
Alvin retired from Texaco, plant based in Paradis, LA, after many years of service.
In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
