Alton "Chief" Gisclair

Alton "Chief" Gisclair, 86, a native of Larose and resident of Galliano passed away Feb. 15, 2016. Visitation will take place on Feb. 19, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the church cemetery.
Mr. Alton is survived by his son Dale Gisclair wife Ronda, daughter Deborah Guidry, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, brother Durac Gisclair, sister Gernice Bourg, and half-sister Gloria Terrebonne.
Mr. Gisclair was preceded in death by his wife Hilda Guidry Gisclair, father Noah Gisclair, mother Lucretia C. Gisclair, step mother Anita Gisclair, brothers Morrison, Joseph, and Allen Gisclair, step brother Eugene Labiche, halfsister Dolores Gisclair and Mary Ann Fillinich, and stepsister Louella Autin.
