Alma Fanguy

Alma Marie Carlos Fanguy, 88, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.Visitation will be from 3 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.She is survived by her sons, James and wife, Karen, and Barry and wife, Tammy Fanguy, of Houma; daughters, Christiana and husband, Lonnie Dupre, of Pointe-aux-Chenes, Julie and husband, Curtis DeHart, of Theriot, Nadine Fanguy Bergeron, of Brookhaven, Miss., Samantha Fanguy and companion, Sterling Callagan, of Houma, and Marsha and husband, Wayne DeHart, of Houma; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Berwick Fanguy; son, Wayne Joseph Fanguy; soin-in-law, Keith Michael Bergeron Sr.; parents, Dominique and Georgia Roddy Carlos; half-brother, Iley Carlos; half-sister, Pearl Rochelle; grandsons, Lonnie Dupre Jr. and Infant Fanguy; granddaughter, Naomi Marie; and great-grandson, Dylan Dupre.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/houmatoday/obituary.aspx?n=alma-fanguy-carlos&pid=169025252&fhid=14167#sthash.GTQROtNJ.dpuf
