Aline Voorhies Dufrene, 86, a native of Moreauville, LA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at 12:50 PM in Kenner, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, October 7, 2013 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Michael Louis Dufrene and daughter, Rachael Dufrene.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer Dufrene; parents, Louis Amadee Voorhies and Hermance Bernard Voorhies; brothers; Henry, Elmo, John, Ralph, Allen, Rev. Louis, Samuel Voorhies; sisters Eloise Voorhies, Rita Tassin, Theresa Somme', Odile Voorhies.
She was a nurse for many years.
