Alice H. Verdin, 74, a native of Choctaw and resident of Galliano passed away Oct. 22, 2015. Visitation will take place on Wed. Oct. 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
Mrs. Alice is survived by her husband of 42 years Nelson J. Verdin, children Irene Verdin husband Cherry, Albert Dardar wife Elizabeth, Nelson A. Verdin wife Florinda and Allison Hornback husband Kent, 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Verdin was preceded in death by her parents Alcide and Ophelia R. Hebert, son Chester Verdin, grandson Kobie Verdin, brothers Auguste, Octave, Joseph, and Allen Hebert, and sisters Mary Ford, Lucia H. Percle and Lucille Hebert.
In lieu of flowers donations to offset funeral costs are appreciated.
