Alice Martin Griffin, 86, a native of Napoleonville, and a resident of Raceland, passed away at 12:28 a.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, in Houma.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Wilfred Martin Jr. and wife, Ann, and Terry Martin and wife, Cindy; daughter, Carolyn Folse and companion, Lorry Cavalier; grandchildren, Kellie, Chad, Solange, Tracey, T.J., Melinda, Scotty and Jason; great-grandchildren, Chance, Rebecca, Ross, Matthew, Madison, Hannah, Kaitlyn and Morgan; brothers, Rodney and Thomas Adams; and sisters, Alma Champagne and Patsy Barras.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilfred Martin Sr.; second husband, Johnny Griffin; mother-in-law, Klebertine Martin; parents, Philip and Emelda C. Adams; brothers, Herman, Nolan, Herbert and Raymond Adams; and sisters, Anna Mae Adams and Bernice Breaux.
