Alcidie Hankins

Alcidie Melanie Hebert Hankins, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, died Monday, April 9, 2012.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be held at noon Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Dan Clabaugh; sons, Natalio Hebert, Wade Guilbeau and Ray Guilbeau; daughter, Deborah Wellborn; brothers, Cleveland Hebert, Natalio Hebert and Gaston Hebert; sisters, Rose Hunter, Cora Hernandez, Rita Danos and Nola Esponge; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Natalio Hebert and Celeste Gisclair Hebert; and son, Russel Guilbeau.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
