Albertha D. Pellegrin, 73, a native and resident of Houma, passed away at 2:05 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Julius John Pellegrin; daughters, Anita Pellegrin and companion, Ward Robichaux, Sandra Foret and companion, DeWayne Farrell, Roxanne and husband, Morgan Foret, and Charlotte and husband, Richard Hector; brother, Lawrence and wife, Betty Dupre; sisters, Emmadel and husband, Louby Dupre, Earline and husband, Irvin Naquin, Mary Pinell, Dorothy LeBouef, and Mildred and husband, David Falgout; grandchildren, Curvin and Shawn Solet, Bambi Newman, Jamie Porche, Jessica Smith, Jacob McDonald, Shane Foret, Jinny and Derrick Hector and Paul Jr.; great-grandchildren, Justice and Brenden Walker, Jayme Dawn Walker, Ray Lynn Winkler, Alyssia and Jie Boudreaux, Kylee Porche, Ethan Pinell, Landon Foret, Kelsey McDonald, Riley Smith, Payton Michelle Hector, and Michael and Dylan Solet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anita Dubois Dupre; son, Kenneth Pellegrin; infant daughter; one sister, Thelma Pitre and one great-granddaughter, Hailey Jo Solet.
She loved painting yard signs that her husband made, working puzzles, tending flowers and embroidering.
