Albert P. Dufrene, Sr., 91, a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 5:01 PM in Lockport, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Mathews, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at St. Hilary Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Albert "Al" Dufrene, Jr. and wife Bobbie, Glenn J. Dufrene and wife Susan; daughters, Carolyn Sevier and husband Carl and Cindy Folse and companion Neal Hohensee; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elta R. Dufrene; parents, Davis and Victoria Dufrene; brothers, Elvan, Hubert, Clifton, Irvin "White", Tony Dufrene and sisters, Nazy LeBoeuf and Ethel Dufrene.
