Alan "Chopper" Soudelier

Alan “Chopper” Soudelier, 65 a native and resident of Lafourche passed away on Thursday, May 23th, 2024.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial wake on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano from 9:00 am until service time. A Celebration of his Life will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to his burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose.

Mr. Alan is survived by his children: Alan Danos, Amber Fuller, Keith Lovett, Christie Soudelier, Allie Campell, Savannah Dominique, Elijah Soudelier; 10 grandchildren; brother: Andrew Soudelier Jr.; and sisters: Rose Trosclair, Debra Lee, Tina Thomassie.

Mr. Soudelier was preceded in death by his mother: Gladys Dubois; father: Andrew Soudelier, Sr. and sister: Mary Trahan.

Captain Chopper was a loving father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a retired tug boat captain of many years, an avid fisherman, plant lover, song writer, musician, and a man of God.
