Alan Henry Leonard

Alan H. Leonard, 69, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018.

Visitation will be from 8:30 am until 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. A Prayer Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham Dr., Slidell, LA.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette Matherne Leonard, step-children, Renee Adams Guidry and her husband Joshua Guidry, Kenneth Adams and his wife Angele Druen Adams, Terry Adams DeJager and her husband Arno DeJager; grandchildren, Hunter Adams, Mason Adams, Laith Druen, and Madison Druen; mother, E’Lois DeGeorge Leonard; brother, Harry Leonard and his wife Lanette Clement Leonard; sister, Janet Leonard Harvey and her husband John Richard Harvey; sister, Sharon Leonard Montreuil and her husband Richard Montreuil; sister, Terry Leonard Gleason; nieces and nephews, Marc and Paula Leonard, Celeste and Shane Stout, Jeannette Frantz Spivey, Ryan and Nicole Frantz, Jillian and Rocco Ria, Jennifer Harvey, and Troy Montreuil; great nieces and nephews, Landon and Logan Stout, Matthew and Daniel Spivey, Corey and Christian Frantz, and Ana Leonard.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene Leonard and Yola Guidry Leonard; maternal grandparents, Henry W. DeGeorge Sr. and Juliette Lightel DeGeorge Leonard; father, Harry Lee Leonard; and nephew, Nicholas Leonard, who was Alan’s godson.
