Adrienne “Deanie” Peck Graffagnino, age 86, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 8:45 p.m. She was a native of Opelousas and resident of Houma, LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma.
Adrienne is survived by her sons, Gregg Graffagnino and wife, Kellie, and Jason Graffagnino and wife, Morgan; daughters, Tammy Eschete and husband, Ronnie, and Kelly Francis and husband, Alvin; brothers, Bernard Peck Jr. and wife, Sally, and Alex “A.T.” “Doo” Peck and wife, Susie; sister, Ruby Tujague and husband, Lawrence; grandchildren, Jordan Eschete and companion, Michaela, Erin Laudun and husband, John, Braden Eschete and wife, Melissa, Corinne Ross and husband, Jeffrey, Cameron Chauvin and companion, Brittany, Evan Chauvin and companion, Mary, Katelyn Fletcher and husband, Brandon, Gideon Hendrix and husband, Hyatt, and Grey Graffagnino; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Everett, Stella, Joelle, Nina and Fletcher twin boys due in July.
Adrienne was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Sr. and Luda Bourque Peck; and sister, Dorothy Wyble and husband, Austin; and her ex-husband, Dr. Frank Graffagnino.
Adrienne was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker who was a phenomenal cook with special talents in maintaining her meticulous kept home and especially her flower garden. Above all she was a prayer warrior for everyone. She was devout Christian Catholic who lived her life by the Lord’s Word yearning for the day she would be in His presence.
Special thanks to all of the medical professionals who assisted in her care during this brief illness. Thanks to Terrebonne General and Ochsner Health Systems especially for the outstanding care provided by the Emergency Room staff at both facilities, by Terrebonne General Rehab Unit, staff of the 4th and 3rd floors at TGMC, Terrebonne Homecare, Acadian Ambulance, Haydel Memorial Hospice, Total Pharmacy Services, Falgout Funeral Home, and especially Dr. Russell Henry for his care and “special visits”.
