Adeline T. "Manu" Callais

Adeline T. “Manu” Callais, 95, a Native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Lafourche Shrine Hall, 215 E. 93rd St., Galliano, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon, with a short service to begin at 12:00 Noon.
“Manu” is survived by her son, Allen Callais (Bonnie); 3 Grandchildren, Travis Callais (Valerie), Amanda Callais (and companion Daxton Ingram), and Dylan Callais; 7 Great-Grandchildren, Aliza, Aleiya, Jacques, Alyana, Alexa, and Jaxton Callais, and Saigan Ingram; And Sister-in-laws, Adeline T. Constransitch, Barbara Callais, and Katherine Terrebonne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Callais, Sr.; Son, Clarence J. Callais, Jr.; Parents, Hebert and Ida C. Terrebonne; Brothers, Hebert Terrebonne, Jr., and Wilbert Terrebonne; Sisters, Edith T. Savoie, Aline T. Danos, and Ida T. Collins.
“Manu” worked for the 10th Ward Day Care Center, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars. She was a member of Golden Meadow United Methodist Church.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is handling all arrangements.
